Agenda: Two Days. Many Voices. Lasting Change.
The National Writers’ Workshop at Katha Utsav is designed as a shared journey for children, parents, and teachers.
Across two days, children move from playful exploration to focused writing—learning to shape ideas, revise thoughtfully, and speak their stories with confidence. Each children’s workshop runs alongside parallel sessions for parents and teachers, creating a common journey around how stories build thinking, empathy, and self-belief.
The rhythm of the day matters. Writing sessions are balanced with breaks for reflection, conversation, and rest. Afternoons deepen the work, showing children that strong writing grows through patience and care, not speed or perfection.
By Sunday, children are no longer hesitant writers. They are readers of their own work, aware of their voice and proud of it. Parents leave with practical ways to support writing at home, and teachers carry back strategies that place story at the centre of learning.
The valedictory ceremony celebrates effort, growth, and courage. The real outcome stays with the child—confidence, clarity, and the quiet joy of saying, “This is my story, I am a changemaker.”
